E2Tech's September Social

from Jeff Marks

E2Tech is proud to partner with Maine Electric Boat Co., Maine Marine Trades Association (MMTA), The Roux Institute, and LOOKOUT to bring you networking and a celebration of electrifying the marine industry! Representatives of all the above organizations will be in attendance.

The ClimateTech Speaker Series is a joint initiative between the ClimateTech Incubator at Northeastern University's Roux Institute and E2Tech and is sponsored by the Maine Governor's Energy Office.

Join us on Thursday, September 26th from 4-6 pm at 109 Cleaves St, Biddeford for drinks, conversation, and connection. Maine Electric Boat Co. will host our gathering at their facility in Biddeford, where demo rides will be offered on the quietest electric boats around!

The LOOKOUT is an AI-powered marine camera that synthesizes data from charts, AIS, computer vision, and the cloud, then fuses it into one intuitive, 3D augmented reality view to improve boating safety.

For over 55 years, the Maine Marine Trades Association has promoted growth, prosperity, and cooperation within the marine industry in Maine. MMTA's advocacy includes assistance with adaptation to new trends and technology, as well as standard best practices for environment, health and safety. Stacey Keefer has served as Executive Director of MMTA since 2017. In recent years she has served on a marine/coastal working group for the Maine Climate Council and is now serving on the Core Team for Maine's 10-year Outdoor Recreation Economy Roadmap. (from )
