Camouflage, Stalking and Fieldcraft
Our field craft course is one of our most popular courses in the tactical scout program because of its univeral uses in the woods. Being able to get close to either your enemy or a large deer can be a useful skill to have and this course will hone your camo and stalking skills to a razors edge. We are always impressed with how quickly students pick up sniper level stalking skills in such a short amount of time. In this class, you will learn to build a budget ghillie suit from limited supplies and then how to utilize your camo to stalk into position to take the shot.

Training objectives:
-    Techniques of camouflage -    Camouflage fundamentals -    Camouflage during movement -    Target indicators -    Principles of concealment -    Types of camouflage -    Artificial -    Ghillie construction -    Field expedient camoflage -    Cover vs Concealment -    Route selection -    Crawls, walks, skull drag, etc -    Reconnaissance -    Counter-tracking techniques -    Hide construction/occupation
The third and fourth day is a big field training exercise that will test you to the max. Real world Force on Force sniper training! You will be dropped off with a mission objective to take out a target within a limited amount of time. When you reach your objective you will look down the barrel of your rifle and pull the trigger multiple times on our Instructor Cadre (with blank ammunition). Spotters will be observing the area of observation and it will be your objective to not only eliminate the target but you have to go undetected after the shot and exfiltrate from your area while tracker teams come after you! The final stage of exercises will put you up against other teams and you will compete in force on force counter sniper training. You will actually create a mission, determine a hide, stalk other teams, etc. You will compete in a final best sniper competition. Do you think you have what it takes to stalk and eliminate your prey? Come find out!
