Punkinfiddle Family Festival

from Scott Richardson

Punkinfiddle, a family festival on National Estuaries Day, features traditional crafts, hands-on learning, lively music, old-fashioned games, good food, farm animals, and lots of happy faces in a historic seaside setting. Now in its 17th year, this event has become a family tradition for both locals and folks from away. Stuff a scarecrow, stomp your feet, press apples, pet a goat, paint a pumpkin, churn butter, quiz a fiddle maker, create a craft, walk the beach, and leave smiling. Admission $7 regular, $5 members. Kids free! (from )
