OLATHE: WILLS AND LIVING TRUSTS WORKSHOP

from Casey Connealy

With the holidays out of the way, it’s time to refine your goals and resolutions for 2018. Take the time this year to add a small, yet priceless goal to your list – protect your family with a will or trust.
While this may seem like a huge feat, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to make this process as easy and efficient as possible for you to complete. Join us on Tuesday, February 20th for an exclusive educational workshop and dinner to learn the nuts and bolts of estate planning and the steps you can take to secure your family’s future. The workshop will discuss:

1. The difference between a will and a trust;

2. The estate planning goals you should set prior to meeting with an attorney;

3. How to carry forward your family legacy with the church; and

4. A series of practical matters to consider in 2018 when planning your family’s will or trust.
The evening’s presenter will be Holy Trinity parishioner and local Estate Planning Attorney Casey Connealy. Cofounder of Gaughan & Connealy, lifelong resident
of Kansas City, and frequent speaker on all things estate planning, Mr. Connealy aims to help families reduce estate taxes, to minimize or avoid the nightmare of probate, and is known to craft wills and trusts catered specifically to each family’s lifestyle, profession and specific circumstance.
Designed to be educational in nature, the workshop will be a little over an hour followed by a Q-&-A session with the attorney. Reservations are requested and seating limited to adults only.
