Maine Public’s Tell Me More Tour Comes to Waterville on June 27th

from Linda Varrell

The Maine Public News Team is travelling across Maine to hear what listeners and viewers have to say this summer. The next stop on their road trip will take Mark Simpson and members of Maine Public’s news team to Railroad Square Cinema in Waterville on Thursday, June 27th.

The Tell Me More tour brings news personalities to communities across the state to find out what is going on in each community, what are developments worthy of celebrating and what types of news stories and coverage are important to each community.

“We can’t fulfill our vision to tell the whole Maine story without you,” said Mark Vogelzang, CEO and President of Maine Public. “The goal of our tour is to help us learn how Maine Public can serve your community better and how to keep you best informed.”

This Tell Me More stop will include a talk led by News Director Mark Simpson with News Reporter Robbie Feinberg and Andrew Catalina, Maine Public’s Manager of Digital News. This will be followed by a reveal of what Maine Public learned about Kennebec County in a recently completed statewide survey.

All Tell Me More tour stops are free, and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
