Maine Potato Blossom Festival

Celebrate the County’s agricultural heritage at the 71st Annual Maine Potato Blossom Festival July 14th through the 22nd in Fort Fairfield! There is something for everyone with the main activities and vendors Thursday - Sunday, July 19-22, such as; athletic events, live music, a HUGE parade on the 21st, and a myriad of family friendly activities. Wrap it up with fireworks over the Aroostook River on the 22nd for a vacation to remember.



Located in Central Aroostook County on Highway 1A North, east of Presque Isle. Many local events kick off the festival such as the Potato Queen Pageants, town wide garage sale, various local athletic events, socials and meals. The main attraction dates begin on Thursday, July 19th and continue until Sunday, July 22nd. Many vendors will be available showcasing great regional food, the County's agricultural heritage, local services and products, along with live music and family activities varying from Potato Picking, Tator Tot Eating Contest and Mashed Potato wrestling beginning at 9 am and run until 11 pm each day. The Grand Parade starts Saturday at 1 pm, with participants from the County and around the State. Fireworks end the event on Sunday evening at dusk, displayed over our Beautiful River, the Aroostook.
