from Jeff Marks

The Maine State Legislature faces numerous challenging and controversial topics in the new year. As the second half of the 128th Maine Legislative Session begins, there are over 400 bills requiring action; over 300 of them held over from the first session. The energy and environmental issues up for discussion and consideration include microgrids, distributed generation and net metering, sea level rise, water quality standards, and the RGGI program, among others.

What can Maine expect to come out of a short session with a multitude of bills during an important election year? E2Tech is bringing together State energy and environmental leaders to provide a preview of energy, environmental, and economic development initiatives and activities in 2018.
